This book has restored our sanity after only one month! Thank you, Melinda Johnson, for explaining the steps, the reasons, and the details for clicker training. Our 23 year old Amazon parrot was on the verge of being sent to another home, because her screaming had gotten out of control. She is very reluctant to try new things and the training is going slowly because of that. However, I am VERY patient, and the main goal is for her to get attention for good behaviors so the undesired ones will be reduced. Fortunately, we are on that path!
